Balance is all about ‘not too much but just enough'. In our Best Bitter we are looking for the perfectly balanced traditional English ale. Floor malted Maris Otter Pale Ale and Crystal malts with just a hint of Roasted Barley set up the malty palate. Two varieties of English hops - Challenger and Goldings give us clean crisp bitterness. Late hopping with an exciting blend of specially selected English aroma hops (the varieties have to remain secret) gives the fresh Citrus/spicy aroma that completes the balancing act. Malt and Hops in perfect balance.
