First brewed in 2010 in a series of occasional 'one hop' beers using more unusual hop varieties. We first heard about Citra in 2009 had our first whiff of it in early 2010 and resolved immediately we just had to have some. It's just this incredible hop delivers a massive tropical fruit salad of aromas and could easily fool one into thinking you are drinking tropical fruit juice ala Um Bongo. The aromas and flavours are simply citrus peach apricot passion fruit grapefruit lime melon gooseberry lychee pineapple tangerine mango papaya.
