A & R Chardonnay 2023
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
An effortlessly indulgent Aussie medal-winner is the next must-have to add to your A & R collection
- The Santolins have spent the last year making their A&R Durif Shiraz, a veritable powerhouse of a wine, the perfect full-bodied, oaky white partner in crime. They've triumphantly stepped away from the drawing board with this super stylish Aussie Chard in hand.
- And even better - they've made it exclusively for you Angels and have handpicked only the best fruit to ensure that you're only enjoying the most decadent stuff they can muster.
- This brand new Chard is the yin to the yang of their 94%-rated Durif Shiraz - it's bold, full bodied, delightfully oaky and comes with lots of complexity and richness. It's all wrapped up effortlessly with indulgent, plush flavours of crème brülee, vanilla, honeysuckle, toasty oak, and a nice spiced kiss farewell.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Adrian and Rebecca Santolin
- 10 years ago the Santolins were at a crossroads, trying to cobble together a living making hand-crafted wines with 1 small tank, 1 barrel, and a few barrow-loads of fruit. A sensible couple would have quit and bought a house. But they had a dream. And they got Naked.
- Our Boy Meets Girl duo chose to make their home in the famous Yarra Valley. It’s tricky there for small, independent winemakers as mega corporations buy up the area’s top notch grapes. Angel funding meant Adrian and Rebecca could pay growers upfront and get their hands on the best fruit possible to make their deliciously moreish wines.
- Three kids, 12,000 followers and heaps of awards later, they’re still living that dream and hand-crafting some of the most delicious artisan wines down under. All thanks to you, and the power of Angel crowd-funding.
