"I love the diversity of this work, from the culture of the vine to reach a bottle of wine, I always thought it was amazing. I took after my uncle who first vinified in 1979, so there is a real family history hear at Domaine Mortier.
My main focus is respect for the soil and plant along with respect of the grape and especially the fruit, and I love passing this on and meeting others who share my philosopy of taste.
I am lucky to have never experienced a catastrophic vintage and have instead had many great vintages; 1999, 2005, 2009 and surprise stand-out vintages, 2004 and 2011.
My proudest moment is always when my clients return to say they enjoyed drinking my wine so I can't wait to hear what you think!"
