What is the app for?
The Naked Wines mobile app is designed to help you get the most from being an Angel. You can read about all the wines in your recent orders, rate them and even add them to your basket for your next order. You can also use the app to invite your friends to Naked Wines with a deal. Invites can be sent via e-mail, Facebook or Twitter. You can also track your recent orders and see posts on your and other walls.
How do I see the wines from my recent orders?
On the home screen there is a button with the date of your most recent order, which you can tap and select from your previous 10 orders.
Can I see details on a wine I haven't ordered before?
Yes, you can read about any wine we sell by typing the name into the Search page.
How do I place an order?
As you browse the app, you can add various wines to your basket. This is a shared basket with the Naked Wines website, so if you add a bottle here it will appear online, and vice versa. We'll tell you when your basket has enough wine in it to checkout, and if you want you can order from the mobile app. At present we can only place orders using your default delivery address and payment method. We'll show you these details before you checkout and if you need to change them you can call or e-mail us, or just update them on the website.
How do I know I'm paying the right price?
Our customers let us know how great the prices are by buying the wines and rating them. We've collected millions of ratings, and we use that data to set our wine prices. If fewer than 8 out of 10 people say they'd buy the wine again, we lower the price. Once a wine has collected 250 ratings at the new price, we'll review it again - we want at least 9 out of 10 people to love the wine at that price.
How do I change my default delivery address?
At present you can't do this from within the mobile app. Please call or e-mail us, or just update them on the website from the My Account page.
Can I purchase/redeem Gift Cards via the app?
Unfortunately, we’re not currently able to offer Gift Card purchases or redemptions on our app.
Where can I report bugs or suggest updates to the app?
Please e-mail app@nakedwines.com with any bugs you come across and we'll do our best to squash them! We're planning continuous and regular updates to the app, but if you have a great idea you think we should build, let us know on the same e-mail address.
